Begin 2007 werd onze Ilana ziek. Na veel strubbelingen met onze toenmalige dierenarts zijn wij met haar naar een dierenkliniek gegaan waar uit onderzoek bleek wat wij al vreesden, ze had nierfalen.
Ondanks het feit dat haar levensverwachting op dat moment nog 4 weken was hebben we nog een half jaar van haar mogen genieten. In augustus van dat jaar hebben we afscheid van haar moeten nemen. Ze rust op een mooi plekje in onze tuin. We missen haar nog steeds en we zullen dit mooie lieve meisje nooit vergeten.
